- How do I connect telephone service?
If you wish to have telephone
service in your unit, you will need to apply to the telephone company for
hook-up. In addition to your monthly rental for telephone service there will
be a one time hook-up fee of $45 - $100. You will need to purchase your own
phone.
If you have never had telephone service in your name or are under 19, and do
not have a credit card in your name, you will likely need to apply for
service under a parent's name or leave a $200 deposit.
If you are an overseas student and under 19, you will require a major credit
card in your name or a parent's name. If you are an overseas student and
over 19, you will need a major credit card or a $200 deposit.
